About ShootAthlon
ShootAthlon is a new shooting sport discipline that combines precision shooting with physical activity and exercises that can be combined into an unlimited number of courses and events.
ShootAthlon only uses digital rifles and pistols with eye-safe lasers, so we can practice the sport anywhere. It doesn't require a shooting range, but can take place in a gym, in an outdoor environment or anywhere else – only your imagination sets the limits.

Pulse, Strength, and Balance
ShootAthlon is very much about coordination. When completing the courses, you achieve the most optimal time result when you master balance, strength and control of your pulse during the shooting. These are the three most important elements of a ShootAthlon course spiced with creativity.

The "LaserPower IV Profi Level" rifle and target from Anschütz is a good and stable rifle that can be used by both children and adults.

SF30-G17 pro gen.2
The “SF30-G17 pro gen.2 advanced training laser pistol” from Laser Ammo is a reliable laser pistol that is similar in size and weight to a Glock 17 pistol. It can be programmed for various features that make shooting training and ShootAthlon versatile.

LaserPower target
The LaserPower target box from Anschütz is a target for rifles. It resembles the targets you see in biathlon (biathlon), but is fully electronic and lights up when hit.

Interactive Multi-Target Training System
The Interactive Multi Target Training System from Laser Ammo is an electronic target system that can be used for both laser rifles and laser pistols (above). The system has several features and timing.
Weapons (Rifle & Pistol)
ShootAthlon only uses laser weapons with eye-safe red lasers. This means that ShootAthlon can be practiced as a sport or activity anywhere. In developing ShootAthlon, we have used one type of rifle and one pistol and a target system for each.

Tracks
ShootAthlon can be practiced anywhere. It doesn't necessarily have to be on a shooting range, but can take place in a gym or in an outdoor environment.
In our handbook we have chosen to give examples of how to set up three tracks. You can develop an unlimited number of new courts yourself. It can be smart to use the lines that are often in a sports hall. If there are no lines or courts at your place, just define it yourself.
We have chosen that a ShootAthlon court should be a minimum of 6 x 13 m, which corresponds to a badminton court, but you can also use volleyball or handball courts.
