Associations
ShootAthlon is a new shooting sport discipline that combines precision shooting with physical activity and exercises that can be combined into an unlimited number of courses and events.
ShootAthlon uses digital rifles and pistols with eye-safe lasers. Therefore, it does not require a shooting range. ShootAthlon can take place in a gym, common areas or an outdoor environment.
The Danish Shooting Union (Skydesport Denmark) will develop competitions, championships and events in collaboration with the associations that choose to start and practice ShootAthlon.
Why ShootAthlon?
ShootAtlon can invite more children and young people into the sport of shooting and introduce them to shooting through play and movement.
Furthermore, ShootAthlon can function as training for current shooters, both out of season, but also in daily training, as the exercises in ShootAthlon are developed with inspiration from ATK (Age-related training concept) for all shooting sports.
ShootAthlon can also be used across associations and the individual association can also hold local events - and generate income for the club, in addition to new members.

What is required to start ShootAthlon?
It just requires that you have one or more people who will be responsible for organizing the activities/training and that you are willing to invest in the weapons that are initially required to start ShootAthlon.
We recommend that you acquire at least one rifle and one pistol, as well as associated electronic targets, preferably 10. It would be optimal to have two rifles and two pistols, with associated targets.
